Faster, Smarter, Still Human
At its core, concepting will never go away. Ideas are what drive culture, campaigns, and connection. AI can’t replace that, but what it can do is speed up the process and make the creative journey more flexible. In my view, AI isn't a substitute for human creativity. It's like having a team of highly skilled Photoshop ninjas to help bring visions to life
Here are a couple ways I see AI helping me and other creatives move swiftly.

Pitch Work at Speed
Pitching is always a race against time. We’re building worlds, moodboards, mock-ups, and decks at a breakneck pace. I find AI helpful here by cutting the gap between concept and vision. Instead of spending hours sourcing stock images or creating a rough comp from scratch, I use AI to generate mock-ups that bring an idea to life instantly. The big picture thinking still comes from me, but AI helps me visualize it faster. It doesn’t replace human creativity, it just makes the process leaner and gives me more room to refine the idea before presenting it.

Production Without Limits
Traditionally, once you got to the shoot, you were locked. Change the script? Swap an actor? Redesign a product shot? Those decisions came with a heavy price tag and ripple effects across the team. With AI in the mix, that rigidity is gone. Now we can make adjustments mid-production or even post-shoot. Want to change a location from desert to forest? Add a new product into a frame? Update scenery? What used to be a headache is now doable. AI keeps the creative door open longer, which means ideas can keep evolving without slowing us down.
